On March 18 and 19, our fourth-grade students had the exciting opportunity to visit the Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro to enjoy a performance by the Greensboro Symphony. Spring Break Central Services Hours

The North Carolina Division on Career Development & Transition (NC-DCDT) held its annual Conference in Greensboro this week. Several RCSS employees were given opportunities for professional networking, access to the latest information in the field of transition, and insights into effective educational practices. Participants engaged in workshops, presentations, and discussions aimed at improving transition services and outcomes for individuals with disabilities.


Technology Technician Ralph Davis represented RCSS at the 2025 NCET Conference, presenting a session on ClearTouch Demo and Maintenance. As RCSS’s first ClearTouch-certified technician, Ralph shared expert insights on maximizing ClearTouch panel functionality and best practices for maintenance.

The Virtual Academy @ Randolph held Science Title 1 Night on March 13th. Kids and parents came out to engage in a myriad of science activities and experiments.

During the March 17 Board of Education Work Session, Superintendent Gainey led a joint session with school system leaders, NC State Legislators, and BOE members to share updates and discuss the school system's budgetary needs. We appreciate our legislators' participation.
