Career Tip: Optimize Your Digital Footprint! 💻
In today's world, career development starts online. Many employers review social media profiles!
Encourage your student to think of their online presence as a professional portfolio:
Clean Up: Ensure all public profiles are professional and positive.
Build Up: Create a LinkedIn profile or use platforms to showcase projects, achievements, and certifications.
Network: Follow companies and professionals in their career cluster for industry insights.

In CTE, our students don't just learn about a career, they experience it through Work-Based Learning (WBL)!
WBL includes internships, job shadowing, clinical experiences, and apprenticeships. These experiences: Build professional networks before graduation.
Develop high-demand soft skills (like communication and problem-solving).
Increase confidence in a real-world setting.
Give your student the advantage of experience! Contact your high school's Career Development Coordinator (CDC) for more information on these WBL opportunities.
