Recently, eighth-grade students from Wheatmore Middle School had the opportunity to visit Sandhills Community College for an exciting field trip focused on Culinary Arts. During their visit, the students participated in a hands-on experience in the Hot Bakery Classroom, where they learned the art of baking by making homemade pretzels from scratch. This interactive experience not only allowed them to explore culinary techniques but also gave them a taste of what it's like to work in a professional kitchen setting, sparking their interest in the culinary field.
