Providence Grove High School

Providence Grove High School community came together today in support of their beloved history teacher, Mr. Burton, whose son, Eli, passed away at just 15 years old. Eli, a lifetime resident of Chatham County, was known for his love of animals, his deep connection with his family, and his infectious joy for life, despite the many challenges he faced. Rooting for his Tennessee Volunteers made him happy, happy, happy! To honor Eli’s memory and show support for the Burton family, students and staff wore orange. The outpouring of love and support from the Providence Grove High School community is a testament to the deep connections Mr. Burton has forged with his students and families.
