On Friday, April 11th, fourth grade students at Grays Chapel Elementary had an unforgettable time celebrating North Carolina Day! The whole day was packed with fun and learning as students rotated through a variety of interactive stations highlighting the best of what our state has to offer.
We were thrilled to welcome an amazing lineup of guest presenters:

NC Food & Beverage Sampling Station (Lyn Richardson & Sherry Hylton)– Featuring tasty treats made right here in our state! (Conrad & Hinkle pimento cheese, Mt. Olive pickles, Piedmont Candy Company, Pepsi/Cheerwine, Bone Suckin’ Sauce)
As students moved through the stations, they had a chance to earn raffle tickets by showing good behavior and enthusiasm. At the end of the day, they entered their tickets into raffles for some awesome prizes. This day would not have been possible without the generous support of many North Carolina businesses.
It was a fantastic day full of learning, laughter, and Tar Heel pride!
