Friday, March 28th, Trindale Elementary was a fun-filled celebration day of reading and learning. Kindergarten kicked off the day with a lively Letterland Alphabet parade, where they proudly displayed their creative costumes representing different letters of the alphabet. The Archdale Police Department joined in the festivities by reading to students, fostering a love for books and community engagement. Throughout the day, various classes hosted surprise guest readers, adding an element of excitement and surprise to the event. To wrap up the day, the entire school came together for afternoon reading buddies, where older students partnered with younger ones to enjoy stories and foster a sense of camaraderie through reading. It was a memorable day that highlighted the importance of literacy and brought the school community closer together.
