Today, our school had a special visit from Miss Charlotte Teen, Delilah, who is part of the esteemed Miss America network. She joined us as a guest reader for Read Across America Week, bringing excitement and inspiration to our young learners. Delilah read a wonderful story to the class, captivating the students with her enthusiasm and engaging storytelling. In addition to sharing a book, she also spoke about her personal movement, #AlmostPerfect, which promotes self-acceptance and confidence. She encouraged the children by teaching them that perfection is not the goal—rather, everyone is unique in their own way, and that makes them perfect just as they are.
