SWRHS Alumnus honors President Carter in Capitol Rotunda

Southwestern Randolph High School was filled with Cougar Pride last week as one of their own, Private First Class Sean Adkins, SWRHS Class of 2023, achieved an extraordinary honor. Adkins was selected to stand sentry and watch over President Jimmy Carter as he lay in state in the Capitol Rotunda. This prestigious opportunity, reserved for the highest level of service members, reflects not only Sean’s dedication to his country but also the strong character and values instilled in him during his time at Southwestern Randolph High.

Adkins’ accomplishment is a point of great pride for the entire SWRHS community, highlighting the remarkable things Cougars are achieving across the nation. His service and commitment to our country continue to inspire future generations of students at SWRHS.

Thank you, Sean, for your service and for representing SWRHS with such honor. Cougars are indeed doing great things, and we couldn’t be prouder!
