Hopewell 5th Grade Good News!

Each year fifth graders participate in the DARE program taught by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. During DARE, students learn about the DARE decision making model and challenges they may face during their lifetime. Students learn how to deal with peer pressure and ways to manage stressful situations. At the end of their time with the DARE officer, they are asked to complete a DARE essay to explain what they have learned. The following students’ essays were selected as the top five for Hopewell 5th grade.

Congratulations to:

Adan Carballo (Mrs. Cheek’s class)

Jensine Nonan (Mrs. Davidson’s class)

Jadyn Mraz (Ms. Hilton’s class)

Olivia Obidike (Mrs. Hinesley’s class)

Congratulations to all of our 2024-25 DARE Graduates!
