The Turkey Trot at New Market Elementary on November 25th was an exciting day sponsored by our PTO where students and staff enjoyed walking and jogging laps while dressed as their favorite Thanksgiving foods! It was all about being creative, moving, and winning amazing prizes! The class with the most laps, the grade level with the most laps, and the "Best Dress-ing Dish" all received prizes. Classmates not only exercised their bodies, but also flexed their positive character traits as they encouraged each other and worked as a team to achieve as many laps as they could. During the event students ran/walked a total of 3,200 laps. We're so THANKFUL for our wonderful students, staff, and parents that can have fun together.
