Tom the Turkey is on the loose! He’s hiding on the Thanksgiving parade floats and the Kindergartener’s at John Lawrence Elementary School are helping him get away! After reading Turkey Trouble, the students completed an at home project to hide Tom Turkey on a parade float. They then brought them to school where John Lawrence Elementary hosted its own Thanksgiving parade! Bringing up the end of the parade, first graders held on to the balloons over Broadway. Students have read books and researched Tony Sarg’s famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. What an exciting celebration had by all at John Lawrence Elementary School!
