On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Coleridge Elementary School celebrated World Kindness Day, a global event dedicated to promoting kindness and compassion across the world. World Kindness Day is celebrated annually to encourage people to make small, meaningful gestures that can have a big impact, whether it's through a simple smile, a helpful action, or words of encouragement. It reminds us all of the power of kindness in building stronger, more connected communities.
To mark the occasion, Coleridge staff and students embraced the theme by putting the "i" in KIND, symbolizing their commitment to kindness in their everyday actions. From sharing compliments and lending a hand to showing appreciation for one another, everyone at Coleridge came together to spread positivity and care. The day was a reminder that kindness is something we can all contribute to, no matter how big or small the gesture may be.
