In September, our Hopewell 2nd graders went on a field trip to Brick Ed and More. They got to experience controlling robots to play basketball, soccer, dodgeball, to joust, and to follow paths they created. They built 2-digit numbers with legos and discussed place value. The instructors read a version of Cinderella that related to sound. Then the students built a scene using legos and shared it with the group. Students also worked to build and code a moving ferris wheel. They were able to control the lights, sound and movement of the ferris wheel.
